캐나다 졸업생 근로허가 확대 시행
지난 31일 캐나다 이민부가 유학생을 대상으로 발급하는 ‘졸업생 근로허가(Post-Graduation Work Permit)’의 발급 대상 교육기관 수를 대폭 늘린다고 발표했다.
이민부의 이날 발표는 BC주 교육인증기관(EQA)이 선정한 18개 사립교육기관의 교육과정을 이수한 유학생에 대해 졸업생 근로허가 발급을 확대 허용한다는 내용을 골자로 한다. 졸업생 근로허가는 정부가 선정한 학교에서 8개월 이상의 교육을 이수해야 신청 자격이 주어지며 졸업생에게 합법적인 근로허가를 발급하는 것으로 이민부가 지난 2008년부터 도입해 시행해왔다...
