캐나다 학습위원회, “만화책 독서능력 제고”
교육도구로서 부적절하다는 통념에 변화바람
캐나다 학습위원회(CCL)가 지난 21일 발표한 한 보고서에 따르면 캐나다 대부분 교육자들은 만화책들이 독서교재로 적절하히 사용될 필요성이 충분히 있는 것으로 드러났다.
캐나다학습위원회에서 추천하는 만화책들은 다음과 같다.

—"Bone" by Jeff Smith
—"Sardine in Space" by Joann Sfar and Emanuel Guibert
—"Copper" by Kazu Kibuishi
—"CTON's Super A-maze-ing Year of Crazy Comics" by Clayton Hanmer
—"Food Fight: A Graphic Guide Adventure" by Liam O'Donnell and Mike Deas.
—"Adventures in Cartooning: How to turn Your Doodles into Comics" by James Sturm, Andrew Arnold and Alexis Frederick-Frost.
